Mr. Jones has worked with clients from the United States, as well as parts of Great Britain, India and Africa. He is well known for his success in leading strategic development, workshops and training sessions across a variety of settings.
Concurrently, Mr. Jones has held several other significant roles. From 2012 to 2019, he directed the Holy Cross Missionary of Parish Evangelizations program at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in mentoring students from diverse backgrounds and encouraging academic excellence.
Between 2004 and 2019, Mr. Jones also served as the associate director of multicultural education at the College of the Holy Cross. His tenure was characterized by innovative programming that fostered inclusivity and supported underrepresented students. Mr. Jones is particularly proud of having inspired about a dozen students, many of whom were first-generation college attendees, to pursue doctoral degrees in fields ranging from education to particle physics. Notably, after starting his work at the College of the Holy Cross, he became involved with the Jesuits and became a certified Jesuit lay leader.
Before his work in higher education, Mr. Jones gained valuable experience working on Wall Street and in property management. He also taught at the Institute for Real Estate Management, sharing his knowledge with aspiring professionals in the field.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Jones is an ordained deacon in the Baptist Church and is recognized as a senior master trainer in Kingian nonviolence philosophy. His educational journey has been complemented by CTI, professional development and artificial intelligence training, and he holds master senior trainer credentials in nonviolence.
The foundation for Mr. Jones’s success can be traced to his upbringing and the influence of his mother, a woman of faith and action who modeled community engagement from an early age. He credits her example as well as mentorship from other figures, such as a former professor who instilled in him a love for learning and vocabulary development through weekly reading assignments and creative writing exercises.
Civic engagement has been central throughout Mr. Jones’s life. Some of his more recent contributions included chairing UHAI for Health and supporting Kenyan immigrants and other newcomers facing health-related challenges across central Massachusetts. As a volunteer with New Hope Inc., Mr. Jones supports victims while advancing prevention initiatives. Through the Violence De-escalation Program, he equips individuals with essential life skills before conflicts escalate. At the YMCA, he leads the Male Involvement Coalition, focused on self-improvement and conflict de-escalation strategies for men and boys. Additionally, he serves as the chair of the Rhode Island Interfaith Community, an organization dedicated to building inclusive relationships across diverse identities, and he developed an accreditation program for facilitators.
Earlier, Mr. Jones served as the chair of Legendary Legacies, where he led efforts to help young men reenter society after incarceration by providing job opportunities and training. His involvement also included affiliations with several domestic violence prevention groups, as well as with Members of African Descendants and the YWCA, where he received the Great Guy Award in 2018 for his work ending gender-based domestic violence. During the late 1980s, Mr. Jones served at the Anti-Defamation League, where he helped develop the “World of Difference” program, focused on anti-bullying strategies for both educational and workplace environments.

Throughout his career and civic life, Mr. Jones has demonstrated exceptional leadership rooted in compassion, action-oriented service and an unwavering belief in building stronger communities through education and inclusion.
