Dr. Rohleder’s career exemplifies a rare blend of academic rigor, practical expertise and ethical commitment across three core sectors: higher education, nonprofit leadership and private sector consulting. Since 2017, she has served as an adjunct Master of Business Administration faculty member at Washington Adventist University, where she teaches graduate-level courses in business administration. Her curriculum spans strategic management, marketing, human resources and organizational behavior, areas she identifies as essential for developing future leaders. Dr. Rohleder’s instructional approach is distinguished by a focus on qualitative and behavioral disciplines rather than quantitative subjects, such as finance or accounting. She draws on her interdisciplinary background in psychology, education and business to create a holistic learning environment that prepares students for the complexities of modern organizations.
In 2023, Dr. Rohleder began serving as the executive director of an organizational development and leadership consulting practice. This enterprise is notable for its pro bono model, where she leverages her expertise to support individuals and organizations without prioritizing financial gain. Dr. Rohleder’s consulting work includes assisting academic leaders, such as a Pennsylvania community college dean, with various professional responsibilities.
Among other engagements, Dr. Rohleder has contributed as a Fulbright specialist with the U.S. Department of State since 2024, furthering her impact on global educational initiatives while sharing expertise and supporting institutional development. Additionally, since 2026, she has been appointed as an honorary full professor in business administration and leadership within the division of international programs at the University of Azteca in Mexico. This role marks the highest academic rank of Dr. Rohleder’s teaching career and reflects her international influence in graduate and doctoral education.
Before these appointments, from 2014 to 2023, Dr. Rohleder owned and operated Panarat Designs, a home decorating business specializing in interior design, home improvement and styling. This venture allowed her to integrate entrepreneurial experience with her academic pursuits while completing graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University.
Earlier in her career, between 2006 and 2014, Dr. Rohleder served as a special assistant at John T. Bell Law Firm. Before immigrating to the United States, she also garnered success as a full-time faculty member at Northeastern University in Thailand from 1998 to 2002. Dr. Rohleder’s early professional experiences further included serving as a political campaign assistant and college student segment leader during the 1999-2000 election cycle in Thailand after initially working for the Thailand Ministry of Culture in 1998, during which time she was involved in coordinating international Russian performers for the National Culture Festival organized by the country’s fine arts department.
Dr. Rohleder’s professional journey has been further enriched by advisory roles with leading institutions. She currently serves as a participant on the dean’s advisory board and leadership team at the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University and has been a member of the Pathways to Excellence Council on campus since 2025. From 2022 to 2024, Dr. Rohleder contributed as an auxiliary board member for Girls in the Game.
Dr. Rohleder’s academic achievements have been foundational to her success across sectors. She first received a Bachelor of Education in English with a minor in political science from Burapha University in Chonburi Province, Thailand, in 1999, followed by a Master of Education in educational psychology from Khon Kaen University in Khon Kaen Province, Thailand, in 2000. From there, Dr. Rohleder completed coursework toward a Doctor of Public Administration at the University of Baltimore. She then completed a Master of Science in marketing and a Master of Business Administration in organization development from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2014, followed by a postgraduate diploma in organizational leadership at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England, and a Doctor of Philosophy in organizational leadership at The Chicago School in Chicago, Illinois.
Widely recognized through memberships in prominent industry associations, Dr. Rohleder is active with the Organization Development Network, the Academy of Human Resource Development and the International Leadership Association. She is also a board member of the Fulbright Association’s Thailand Interest Group.
Civic engagement forms another pillar of Dr. Rohleder’s legacy. As the founder and president of Role Models Foundation Worldwide since 2021, an organization providing scholarships for students globally, she advances educational opportunities beyond traditional classroom settings. Dr. Rohleder has also been the secretary for the Bethesda-Chevy Chase branch of the American Association of University Women since July 2026 and volunteers as a congressional lobbyist advocating for legislation supporting women and girls on Capitol Hill several times each month. She maintains active affiliations with alum groups, including the Oxford Business Alumni Network, the Pembroke College Advancement and Alumni Office, and the Khon Kaen University Alumni Association, has been the chapter leader for the Washington, D.C., Oxford Business Alumni chapter since 2022 and has served as an alum ambassador for Pembroke College since 2024. For more than 10 years, she has served on various committees as a member of The University Club of Washington, D.C. Among other involvements, Dr. Rohleder has contributed to thought leadership through editorial work as an advisory board member for Insights Success Media since 2025.
Dr. Rohleder’s exceptional contributions have garnered numerous honors, more recently including a Visionaries Leadership Award from the Education 2.0 Conference in 2024, recognition as Ambassador of the Year from Pembroke College in 2024 and a Business Leadership Excellence Award from the CXO 2.0 Conference in 2025. She has also been honored with several volunteer awards from Washington National Cathedral and received an Honorary Doctor of Advanced Studies in business administration from the University of Azteca in 2025.
