Quentin B. Jackson, MAOM, CCRF, HonDD, founder and chief mentoring officer of QBJ12 Saints, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in youth development.
A native of Newport News, Virginia, Mr. Jackson was initially educated in Hampton Public Schools as well as St. Rose of Lima Catholic Schools. He subsequently earned degrees and graduated with highest honors from Thomas Nelson Community College, University of Maryland University College-Europe and Ashford University in Iowa, from which he holds a Master of Arts in organizational management with an emphasis on leadership.
Mr. Jackson is a social advocate in the cause and effects of urban education, African American males in sports, and juvenile justice. Likewise, he collaborates with several local think tanks to address and reduce concerns in these fields as well as in the community. Mr. Jackson is currently a blogger on “The Root” as well as various web-based community pages that tackle many pressing social issues of the day.
The founder and lead mentor for his own organization, QBJ12 SAINTS, Mr. Jackson is forging relationships and mentoring young people with the hope that these experiences will enhance and improve their lives and allow them to become successful personally and professionally. His pet phrase is CPT (Coaching, Preaching and Teaching) as valuable lessons are found in all three quadrants. Mr. Jackson’s greatest achievements include his son, Ryan Quin, the QBJ12 SAINTS, An Achievable Dream Academy, and his community advocacy work.
