With over 10 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Margiasso has excelled as a music educator at George Washington Elementary School since 2019. She began her career as a teacher’s assistant at the Campus and Community Children’s Center at the State University of New York at Fredonia from 2012 to 2013. She subsequently served as an instructor at Mount Kisco Country Club Day Camp in 2012 and 2013. She also garnered a stellar reputation as the head of the choral program and general music teacher at Farley Elementary School from 2018 to 2019. 

Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Margiasso pursued an education at the State University of New York at Fredonia, earning double bachelor of music degrees in vocal performance, summa cum laude, and music education with a concentration in general music and choral studies, summa cum laude, in 2013. She continued her academic efforts at the University of Colorado Boulder and obtained a Master of Music in vocal performance and pedagogy in 2016. She was presented with a professional certificate of music for all grades by the state of New York in 2022 and is currently pursing certifications in Rhythm2Recovery and Orff-Schulwerk. 

Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Margiasso has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She held the role of judge for the Roger Rees Awards in 2021 and 2022 and volunteered as a vocal and acting coach at Pleasantville High School from 2013 to 2019. Moreover, she was active in the establishment of the Intercollegiate Choral Festival at the State University of New York at Fredonia between 2011 and 2012. She contributed as a director, presenter, assistant director, and performer in more than 30 national and international theatrical productions. 

In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Margiasso remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She maintained her involvement as the president and vice-president of ritual at the Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity from 2015 to 2016, treasurer of the collegiate chapter of the American Choral Directors Association at the State University of New York at Fredonia. Likewise, she was a member of seven professional societies and associations.

In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Margiasso has accrued several accolades throughout her career. In 2016 she was presented with the Scholastic Honor Award by the Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity and was the recipient of six scholarships. She finished second place in the graduate division of the NATS Annual Voice Competition. Moreover, Ms. Margiasso was recognized as a Fulbright Grant semi-finalist in 2016 and 2017.
