Dr. Michelle D. Rauch, a professor at both Grand Canyon University and Arizona Christian University, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of education.

Driven by an interest in shepherding students along their educational path, Dr. Rauch leverages more than 15 years of expertise in her role at Arizona Christian University, where she has functioned as a senior instructional designer and associate professor since 2013. Bearing a wealth of expertise in the areas of instructional design and technology, she is primarily responsible for cultivating an effective curriculum on behalf of students, as well as facilitating online classroom discussions, developing policies and procedures that foster better practices in adult learning, supporting her fellow colleagues, and seamlessly integrating technology into the educational experience.

Outside of her work at Arizona Christian University, Dr. Rauch has served as an online professor and site supervisor of development at Grand Canyon University, where she is similarly responsible for various technological initiatives. To wit, she has become qualified in using such programs as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Screencast-o-Matic, Zoom and Voicethread, among others, to help facilitate a seamless and enjoyable learning experience. Well-regarded for her insight into the field, Dr. Rauch is the author of “Strategies in the Classroom; Are They Working?” in 2016 and “Leaders and Their Abilities; Temperament to Resiliency” in 2015, and she previously worked as an instructional designer, technologist and professor at the Arizona State University between 2014 and 2019.

Dr. Rauch initially studied education at the Arizona State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2004. She subsequently went on to the University of Phoenix, from which she received a Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction in 2006. Following this accomplishment, Dr. Rauch attended the Grand Canyon University and graduated with a Doctor of Education in leadership and higher education in 2013. Committed to her continuing education, she later studied instructional design and technology at Purdue University, where she attained a Master of Science in 2021.

Dr. Rauch attributes much of her success to her temperament and resiliency. She faced many struggles throughout both her personal life and professional career, beginning with the tragic passing of her father when she was only four months old. Her mother was forced to raise her independently, and they frequently changed homes throughout her youth. Despite these challenges, however, Dr. Rauch persevered and attained success.
