Dr. Pierre has become recognized as a visionary leader and expert in applied behavior analysis, celebrated for more than a decade of success as the chief executive officer of Behavior Analysis Resources and Education (BARE) Inc., located in Miami, Florida. In his leading role, he oversees the operations of what has become a prominent behavioral health institution in South Florida.
In his leading role, Dr. Pierre ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, initiates programs to encourage and retain employees, and trains individuals to become paraprofessionals in the field of applied behavior analysis. He also provides coursework supervision for candidates pursuing board certification, fosters a positive and supportive work environment and delivers direct applied behavior analysis services to the community.
Working alongside his wife, Daymis Pierre, a behavior analyst, Dr. Pierre successfully launched the company in February 2015. With his wife as the organization’s primary provider before expanding operations as demand grew, BARE Inc. has since become wildly successful. Under Dr. Pierre’s leadership, the company has grown to employ approximately 70 staff members, serving hundreds of clients and providing meaningful employment opportunities.
Before pivoting into this sector, Dr. Pierre was a teacher for the Broward County Public School District at Deerfield Beach High School in Deerfield, Florida, beginning in 2012. During his tenure, he developed a strong foundation in education while simultaneously researching business management strategies that would later inform his leadership at BARE Inc. Dr. Pierre ultimately resigned from his teaching position in 2017 to dedicate himself fully to the company’s growth and success.
Dr. Pierre studied at the Instituto Superior de Cultura Física in Havana, Cuba, through a government scholarship, earning a bachelor’s degree, with honors, in 2001 and a Doctor of Philosophy in physical education with concentrations in curriculum and instruction, as well as teaching and coaching, in 2004. After completing his studies in Cuba, he returned to Haiti but found the environment challenging due to systemic issues of incompetence and corruption. Years later, Dr. Pierre obtained board certification in the United States as a behavior analyst from the Behavior Analysts Certification Board in 2018.
Active in his professional community, Dr. Pierre is a member of the Florida Association for Behavior Analysis, reflecting his ongoing commitment to continuous development and industry engagement. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is deeply involved in civic initiatives aimed at improving conditions in Haiti and promoting scientific thinking among both youth and adults. He is the co-founder, president and leader of Hayti de Demain (Hayti of Tomorrow) and Hayti 2050 since 2023, movements dedicated to envisioning a brighter future for Haiti’s population by promoting education, economic development and social transformation. Additionally, Dr. Pierre has served as the co-founder and vice president of The World For Hayti Foundation since 2023.
Dr. Pierre maintains an active online presence through his blog, ashleypierrehuman.com, where he publishes insights on diverse topics related to human development, education and social change. He has also contributed as a guest speaker at events focused on Haiti within Florida.
