With more than 20 years of experience to his credit, Mr. Vandeyar has cultivated an esteemed career in the field of learning management systems (LMS) and education technology. As an enterprise learning systems architect, he has demonstrated exceptional expertise in LMS optimization and administration. Since 2014, he has excelled as an education project manager with VNS Health, where he has exemplified his dedication to advancing educational methodologies. Mr. Vandeyar has simultaneously found success in his roles as the LMS manager and senior vice president of education and training, which showcase his leadership in developing innovative learning solutions. 

Prior to his present positions, Mr. Vandeyar served as an LMS administrator at VNS Health from 2014 to 2015. His tenure there was marked by significant contributions to the enhancement of learning platforms, which laid the groundwork for his subsequent professional achievements. Between 2010 and 2014, Mr. Vandeyar worked as a senior eLearning and LMS analyst at the Automotive Training Institute, where he honed his skills in eLearning strategies and system analysis.

Mr. Vandeyar’s career trajectory includes a pivotal period when he was active as the eLearning and program development manager at City University of New York  from 2006 to 2010. During this time, he played a crucial role in designing and implementing comprehensive educational programs for the aforementioned university system. His earlier experience as the education lab director at State University of New York from 2003 to 2006 provided him with valuable insights into educational technology integration. Mr. Vandeyar began his career as a senior technology specialist with United Cerebral Palsy of New York City between 2002 and 2003.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Vandeyar is actively involved in several industry-related organizations, including the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education, the Association for Computing Machinery, and the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning. These affiliations underscore his commitment to remaining current with industry trends and contributing to the broader educational community.

To support his ambitions within his field, Mr. Vandeyar pursued an education at Hofstra University in New York, from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in computer science in 2003. He ultimately concluded his academic efforts at the University of Phoenix in 2008, graduating with a Master of Arts in adult education and training. Mr. Vandeyar’s extensive certifications further attest to his wealth of expertise, having obtained the Adobe Captivate certification from Future Media, his Absorb LMS Administration Certification, his Cornerstone LMS Certification, and his Docebo LMS Super Administrator Certification, among others.

Beyond his primary endeavors, Mr. Vandeyar is a dedicated donor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, reflecting his commitment to civic engagement and philanthropy. He attributes his success to tenacity, persistence, diligence, a proactive approach, and an unwavering refusal to accept “No” for an answer.
