Ms. Eisele is an esteemed professional in the educational sector, where she has been instrumental as a faculty member and lead in computer science at Front Range Community College since 2001. In addition to teaching computer science classes to beginner students, she manages various administrative tasks, such as hiring adjunct professors, managing over 20 teachers and faculty members, and scheduling the computer science program at all three campuses. Ms. Eisele’s tenure in academia began at a local community college in Wyoming before being acquired as a computer laboratory manager and adjunct faculty at her alma mater, American University, in Washington, D.C., in 1987.
A graduate of Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas, Ms. Eisele received a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics in 1982. Subsequently, she garnered a Master of Science in computer science at American University in 1986, despite her initial plan to pursue a master’s in mathematics. Beyond her educational achievements, Ms. Eisele has been active professionally and civically as a member of the Association for Computing Machinery and as the committee chair for a local fundraising event for student housing. In light of her professional success, she received an Award for Outstanding Work from American University.
Throughout her tenure, Ms. Eisele’s most significant success has been the growth of the computer science program at Front Range Community College since she began working at the institution. Initially, she managed just one campus with five computer science classes. Witnessing remarkable expansion, including remote online courses, she is grateful for how far the program has come. Moreover, she has become involved in writing about the courses and serving as a subject matter expert for the college. Looking forward, Ms. Eisele plans to continue teaching and making a difference in her students’ lives.
