Dr. Adams, an esteemed information technology (IT) consultant at LA Web Solutions LLC, has provided his expertise to clients for over 40 years, since 1983. Respected for his vast knowledge, he consults for attorneys, major firms, government entities, and other enterprises in pen testing and building architectural networks. Besides his work in the industry, Dr. Adams is a respected associate professor at Germanna Community College in Locust Grove, Virginia, where he has been passing on his expertise to the next generation of industry experts since 2021. There, he teaches networking courses and server configuration in Linux and Microsoft.
Beginning his academic career in 1998, Dr. Adams was an assistant professor of computer and information science at Shepherd University until 2005. He also taught as an associate professor of information systems at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2004 to 2010 and was a faculty member at his alma mater, the prestigious Harvard University, between 2015 and 2017. Besides his roles in the classroom, Dr. Adams had the opportunity to serve as an IT developer and webmaster for the U.S. Coast Guard from 2008 to 2019. His expertise in networking and cybersecurity has been instrumental to his continued success.
Dr. Adams honorably served his country in the Virginia Army National Guard for nearly a decade in the 29th Infantry Division as a recon scout and tow gunner. He also became highly educated, earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science, government and economics at Shepherd University in 1990, followed by a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in computer science, and a Doctor of Education in administrative leadership and instructional technology, receiving All But Dissertation, at Shenandoah University in 1998, 2002 and 2015, respectively. Furthermore, he garnered a Master of Arts in IT, education and instructional media design at Harvard University in 2015. Adding to his credentials, Dr. Adams is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Association for Computing Machinery. In light of his success, Dr. Adams received the George H.W. Bush Points of Light Award for his transformative service and recognition from Shriners Children’s Philadelphia Hall of Fame. He was also decorated with an Army Achievement Medal from the United States Army for his military service.
