Mrs. Priolo has established herself as an esteemed educator with a career spanning four decades. Her journey into teaching began after earning a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and teaching, graduating cum laude from Western Connecticut State University in 1981. Subsequently, she pursued a master’s degree in educational leadership and administration, also graduating cum laude from The University of Texas-Pan American Graduate School in 2006. Her academic pursuits continued with a master’s degree in mathematics teacher education from The University of Texas-Pan American Graduate School in 2014, further solidifying her expertise in the field.

Driven by a passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact, Mrs. Priolo embarked on her teaching career in Bethel, Connecticut following her graduation in 1981. Working briefly as a sixth grade teacher for the Mission Consolidated Independent School DIstrict in 1986, she found further success in the classrom in the Sharyland Independent School District from 1987 until the present (2024). Over the years, she has served as a dedicated mathematics teacher and UIL coach and coordinator, nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning. She has also offered her wealth of expertise to the Sharyland Alternative Education Center and the Sharyland Advanced Academic Academy where her commitment to excellence led her to assume the role of dual credit math teacher through South Texas College, where she continues to inspire and empower students to achieve their academic goals.

Looking ahead, Mrs. Priolo envisions a future where she can contribute to the field of education as an administrator or consultant. While contemplating retirement, she plans to explore several opportunities and hopes to devote more time to her hobbies. her ten grandchildren, and traveling with her husband. Reflecting on her career, she finds fulfillment in the meaningful connections she has forged with students and colleagues, emphasizing the profound impact of education on shaping lives and futures.
