With a commitment to education spanning over two decades, Ms. Coe has held various roles in academia. She began her career as a chemistry and physics teacher at the Army and Navy Academy, where she served from 1999 to 2017. Progressing in her career, she transitioned to assistant dean at the same institution, a role she held from 2017 to 2022. Her leadership skills were further recognized when she served as interim dean at the Army and Navy Academy from 2022 to 2023. In addition to her academic roles, Ms. Coe has served as an adjunct professor at California State University San Marcos since 2005, where she continues to inspire and educate students.
Prof. Coe’s passion for education stems from her high school years, where she excelled in math and science. Her natural talent for understandably explaining complex concepts sparked her interest in teaching. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to making learning accessible and engaging for her students. This commitment has earned her accolades such as the Crystal Apple Award and National Merit Scholarship Program recognition.
In the coming years, Ms. Coe envisions continuing her contribution to education at California State University San Marcos.
