His educational background includes an associate degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Sinclair Community College, a Bachelor of Science in sports medicine from Wright University, and a Master of Science in health sciences and sports performance from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals. As the first in his family to attend and graduate from college, Mr. Booker has found great reward in pursuing higher levels of education and intends to start a doctoral program soon. In addition to his formal education, he holds several professional credentials, including being a certified EKG technician, exercise specialist and personal trainer.
Before pivoting into higher education, Mr. Booker was a head boxing coach from 2020 to 2022. He has also become recognized for his martial arts skills and aims to become a jiujitsu world champion by the end of 2025. Attributing his professional success to the unwavering support of his family and friends, he reflects on his accomplishments thus far with a great sense of pride. Since joining Wright State University, Mr. Booker has been able to increase student enrollment from his hometown of Dayton by approximately 25% within just one year. This accomplishment reflects his commitment to positively impacting his community through higher education.
