Norma J. Greenberg, founder and principal at Comprehensive College Consulting, LLC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in counseling and college admission counseling.

With 40 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Greenberg has excelled as founder and principal at Comprehensive College Consulting since 2016. She began her career as a Russian and English teacher for two years before being appointed to the role of part-time teacher and guidance counselor intern at Belmont High School. She garnered a stellar reputation in the field of education as a high school guidance counselor for 32 years. She went on to serve as guidance and counseling department head before establishing herself as a senior college specialist in Boston, Massachusetts. 

Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Greenberg pursued an education at Boston University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Russian language and literature in 1968. She continued her academic efforts at the Graduate School of Education at Harvard University where she obtained a Master of Arts in teaching in 1970. She holds a certification in community mental health counseling from Northeastern University and a certificate of advanced graduate study.

In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Greenberg remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of the Western Association for College Admission Counseling, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the Student’s Peace Union, the Congress of Racial Equality, and the New England Association for College Admission Counseling. She was formerly a member of The College Board and the president of the National Association for College Admission Counseling. 

Ms. Greenberg maintained involvement as a senior counselor at Campus Bound and as a volunteer at the Conejo Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship where she performed as a musical soloist. In light of her impressive undertakings, she has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was presented with the Harry Carroll Award and interviewed on “60 Minutes.”
