Paul Benero, PhD, the assistant dean of humanities, arts and sciences at Bismarck State College, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of academia.
With more than two decades of experience to his credit in the field of education, Dr. Benero has distinguished himself through his role at Bismarck State College. In his role as the assistant dean of humanities, arts and sciences, he bears responsibility for all aspects of staff management, as well as working to enhance course offerings, supporting productive interactions between faculty and students, and exploring opportunities to expand the college’s mission of innovation and exemplary educational service. Previously, Dr. Benero worked as the director of online learning and continuing education at the University of Texas Permian Basin from 2021 to 2022, the assistant dean of the Art Institutes between 2019 and 2021, and an associate professor and chair of his department at Tarrant County College from 2004 until 2018.
Dr. Benero became involved in his profession out of a desire to share his knowledge and inspire people to discover their focus in life. He initially studied 3D design at the University of Texas at El Paso and Texas Tech University during the early stages of his career, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts, respectively. Following these accomplishments, he would later attend Liberty University and earn a Doctor of Philosophy in education and organizational leadership in 2021. Looking toward the future, Dr. Benero’s goal is to continue serving as a mentor on behalf of students, and he aspires to serve as the dean of Bismarck State College or the vice president at another organization within the next five to 10 years.
