With many years of experience to her credit, Ms. Klag has excelled as a second grade teacher with the Independence Primary School since 2005. Prior to this position, she was active as a teacher at the Coventry Elementary School, part of Coventry Local Schools, for nine years. Outside of her primary endeavors, she has been additionally affiliated with the Ohio Education Association, the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers. To support her professional ambitions, Ms. Klag pursued an education at Cleveland State University, initially earning a Bachelor of Science in education in 1992 before graduating with a master’s degree in 1995. 

As a testament to her stellar undertakings, Ms. Klag was presented with the Guiding Star Award from Independence Local Schools in 2013. She attributes her success to her passion for learning as well as her desire to be an exceptional teacher. Among the many highlights of her career, she is incredibly proud to connect with her students and provide a comfortable and safe learning environment where they are encouraged to take risks. In the coming years, Ms. Klag hopes to be more committed and involved in her student’s learning process so that they have fun and are excited to learn more in the future.
