After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Lee University and a master’s degree in various exceptionalities from Florida Gulf Coast University, she achieved a PhD in organizational leadership at Grand Canyon University. Well-regarded for her professional and academic accomplishments, she was nominated for the honor of Hispanic Teacher of the Year by the Henry County Library Systems in 2013. Accounting for her achievements, Dr. Figueroa is most notably proud of her daughter.
