Robert Scott Wadsworth, Biblical Astronomer, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Wadsworth attended Clackamas Community College in Oregon City, Oregon, where he completed coursework in astronomy and astrophysics, and earned an Associate of Science in general science. In 1984, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in geography from Portland State University. Following his graduation, Mr. Wadsworth has found success as a biblical astronomer and teacher of biblical astronomy. He educates others about the physical meaning of planets and constellations, as well as the motion of the planets.
Mr. Wadsworth’s areas of expertise include mathematics, science, astronomy, and the connections between scripture and celestial mechanics. He attributes his success to God, as his strong faith in God has always been his motivation in life and throughout his career. Mr. Wadsworth served in the United States Marine Corps from 1974 to 1978, and is an author in addition to his work as an educator. He wrote for an online newsletter for 17 years, published “A Voice Crying in the Heavens: A Study of the Way of Salvation, Jesus Christ as Prophesied by the Ancient Patriarchs and Written in the Stars” in 1996, and writes blogs for his own website. Mr. Wadsworth found his current field because of his innate interest in astronomy, and in the coming years, he hopes to continue to educate others about astronomy.
