Susan Trost, Music Teacher at Conneaut Area City Schools, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in music education.
After initially obtaining a Bachelor of Music in 2020 from Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania, Ms. Trost subsequently earned a Master of Science in curriculum instruction and assessment from the aforementioned school in 2009. Since 2000, she has provided superior education as a music teacher in the Conneaut, Ohio region to third through twelfth-grade students, as well as helping with the theater program and mentoring high schoolers who assist her with her beginning band students.
In 2019, Ms. Trost garnered the Agnes Skippon Miranda Award for excellence in teaching. In addition, she excels as a piano accompanist with the West Springfield Baptist Church. To remain aware of changes and advancements in her field, she maintains affiliations with the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) and the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA). As the daughter of music educators, Ms. Trost was attracted to the profession at a young age. Music is a joy for her, but being an educator is the reason that she is a music teacher.
