With over a decade and a half of experience, Mr. Holloman has established a successful career in professional development. He is the founder and president of The W.A.A.E. Org since 2016, a teacher at Bishop McNamara High School since 2007, and alumni relations and fundraising manager at the same institution. The W.A.A.E. Org is a career mentorship and professional development organization dedicated to helping youth identify career paths and create actionable plans to achieve their goals. The organization offers holistic support in areas such as community service, financial aid, and financial literacy, guiding students from enrollment to achieving their career aspirations.

Mr. Holloman’s responsibilities in his roles include teaching social studies in private, public, and international schools, managing board activities, facilitating programming and fundraising, and mentoring high school students as they navigate college and professional life. Additionally, he dedicates his time as a volunteer with AmeriCorps, local churches, community service projects, and homeless shelters. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. and serves as an officer with the NAACP. Laying an educational foundation, he earned a bachelor’s degree from Temple University in 2005 and a master’s degree in secondary education and teaching, magna cum laude, from Trinity Washington University in 2011.

In light of his impressive undertakings, in 2013, Mr. Holloman was honored with the My Favorite Teacher Award by The Prince George’s County Gazette. He credits his success to the guidance of his parents, mentors, and coaches, who introduced him to invaluable resources and inspired him to push forward. He also honors the memory of a close friend who passed away at 22, whose influence motivates him to help youth, live fully, and make a meaningful impact. In the coming years, he aspires to expand The W.A.A.E. Org, ensuring it becomes a stable and thriving resource for more students, empowering them to access the tools they need to achieve their dreams and succeed in life.
