With 20 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Bond has excelled as an educator, bringing passion and dedication to her role. Currently serving as a math intervention teacher at St. Charles Mission School since 2019, she provides essential support to students struggling with mathematics from kindergarten to fourth grade. Prior to this position, she held various roles, including a seventh-grade teacher at St. Charles Mission School, a special education teacher at Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, and a teacher in different districts such as Floresville ISD and East Central ISD. She began her career as a part-time clerical clerk at QBS Safeguard in 2013.

Ms. Bond’s career took many paths before she made her way back to teaching. It began in the veterinary field, where she worked alongside her father in his practice from a young age. After a stint in banking and a decade in education, she returned to her roots in veterinary management at her father’s practice in 2003. Her dedication led her to pursue further education and training, including attending the first Veterinary Management School training offered by AAHA. She became involved in organizations like the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association to expand her knowledge and network. Following her father’s sale of the practice in 2012, she embarked on new adventures, including roles in retail and nonprofit organizations, before returning to the education field in Montana.

Ms. Bond’s educational journey includes earning a bachelor’s degree in business and special education from the University of the Incarnate Word in 1991. She continued her academic efforts with certifications in Elementary Education and English Language Learners from Montana State University Billings and Montana State University-Bozeman, respectively.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Ms. Bond has participated in civic endeavors, including involvement in the Women’s Ministry and participating in craft shows. In addition, she finds solace in farming and hiking during her leisure time.

Ms. Bond attributes her success to her passion for helping people. Her most notable achievement is witnessing the moment when students finally grasp challenging concepts, symbolized by the proverbial “light bulb” turning on in their eyes.

Looking ahead, Ms. Bond plans to continue teaching for as long as possible while also focusing on her crafting hobbies, particularly embroidery and sewing. Although she appreciates some of the changes in the teaching world, she remains committed to providing quality education to her students.

Ms. Bond believes in the importance of honesty and is passionate about ensuring children receive a quality education. Her dedication to her students, coupled with her diverse professional experiences, underscores her commitment to making a positive impact in the field of education.
