Additionally, she has served concurrently as a caseworker with EBS Healthcare since 2019.

Ms. Williams’ academic journey is marked by a pursuit of excellence. She earned her Bachelor of Science in education in early childhood and elementary education from Central Missouri State University, now the University of Central Missouri, in 1989. Continuing her scholarly pursuits, she obtained a Master of Arts in teaching and elementary leadership from Webster University in 2002. Her commitment to advancing her skills led her to achieve an education specialist degree in administration from the University of Central Missouri in 2010.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Williams remains actively engaged in various associations that align with her areas of expertise. She is a distinguished member of the American Federation of Teachers, the National Education Association, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa. Notably, she has served as president of the International Literacy Association, showcasing her dedication to promoting literacy and educational advancement.

Throughout her illustrious career, Ms. Williams has garnered recognition for her outstanding contributions. Notably, in 1989, WDAF-TV honored her as the First Year Teacher of the Year, underscoring her early promise and commitment to excellence. Looking ahead, Ms. Williams harbors plans to establish a Christian-based daycare center, reflecting her enduring passion for nurturing and educating future generations.
