Alfonso D. Kraft Sr., Ordained Minister and Motivational Life Coach at Positive Eagles Soar Inc., has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements and leadership in Life Coaching.

Mr. Kraft is lauded for his dedication to others, as evident in his 30-year career as an ordained minister and motivational life coach with Positive Eagles Soar. Establishing his nonprofit organization in 1994, his goal is to help individuals develop self-worth and become productive members of society. As such, Mr. Kraft has been instrumental in providing life coaching for disabled veterans and individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder, teaching them how to improve their people skills and cope with disabilities.

Drawing from his own experiences of overcoming adversity, Mr. Kraft became inspired to give back after experiencing homelessness in the early 1990s. Despite his hardship, he always maintained a positive outlook. Eventually, Mr. Kraft purchased a hot dog cart, which he named the Positive Hot Dog, and operated it for two years, from 1994 to 1996. From there, he became an independent contractor and started a trucking business. Mr. Kraft’s efforts were notably recognized in a news article published in Elkton, Maryland, highlighting his struggles and determination.

Mr. Kraft’s career began with a distinguished 20-year service in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Navy from 1966 to 1986. As a U.S. Marine, he served as a gunner in combat during the Vietnam War. He later transitioned to the U.S. Navy, where he provided counseling and career guidance to military personnel and their families. This experience laid the foundation for Mr. Kraft’s future roles in motivational life coaching and ministry.

Among his many accomplishments, Mr. Kraft earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in interpersonal communications and personnel management from the University of Arizona in Tucson and a second Bachelor of Business Administration in communication and media studies from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He also holds certifications as a certified drug and alcohol counselor from the University of West Florida in Pensacola and the University of Arizona and is an ordained minister and motivational life coach. These added credentials have been pivotal in Mr. Kraft’s ongoing success at Positive Eagles Soar Inc.

Mr. Kraft’s commitment to service extends beyond his professional roles. In 2007, he became the first black chaplain with the American Legion in Delaware. He also served as a minister-chaplain for Victory Village, where he established the Four Chaplains Church for homeless veterans. Furthermore, Mr. Kraft’s involvement with Toastmasters International was instrumental in his public speaking skills, earning him numerous competition wins. Among other endeavors, he serves on the board of the YMCA, volunteers as a chaplain at the Wilmington VA Medical Center in Delaware, where he has dedicated over a decade of service, and supports and donates to various organizations, reflecting his commitment to community service.

Throughout his career, Mr. Kraft has received several accolades, including the Delaware Governor’s Award and the Racial Resolution Award. These honors underscore his impact on both individuals and communities. Mr. Kraft attributes much of his success to his travels and the many people and cultures he encountered during his military service, all of which were profoundly beneficial. Moreover, his family always taught him to treat everyone with openness and kindness. At 78 years old, Mr. Kraft continues to live his best life alongside his wife, three children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, while also giving back through daily interactions with those in need.
