Among other noteworthy roles, his leadership skills were honed during his tenure at NGC, where he held various roles between 1997 and 2015. As an international market development and program management professional from 2008 to 2015, Mr. Page demonstrated his expertise in navigating complex global markets. Earlier, he excelled as a senior program manager and a logistics project manager. Mr. Page’s career began as an advisor at BDM International in 1995.
Mr. Page’s professional journey is deeply rooted in his military service with the U.S. Air Force, where he served as the manager of avionics, maintenance and logistics from 1974 to 1995. His time in the service not only provided him with invaluable experience but also inspired his transition into academia. It was during this period that Mr. Page envisioned teaching at the college level upon retirement, driven by a desire to bring the experiential world of business into the classroom.
Having played a significant role in his success. Mr. Page earned a Bachelor of Arts in management and leadership from Judson University and a Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University in 2004. Additionally, he holds a teaching with cases certification from Harvard Business School at Harvard University, obtained in 2024. These credentials have equipped Mr. Page with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel as an educator and mentor.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Page is actively engaged in civic activities and community service. He volunteers on the local school board and initiated an annual “Road Rally” event from Edwards Air Force Base to Santa Barbara, California, while stationed in Edwards, California. This event initially supported the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and continues to benefit charitable causes under the direction of the center commander. The success of this initiative has been one of Mr. Page’s most notable volunteer accomplishments.
Mr. Page’s contributions have been recognized through numerous awards, including recognition from the Mortar Board Society’s NIU Pleiades chapter and the NIU MBA Golden Apple Award from the College of Business MBA Program in 2022. His dedication to serving others has also been evident in his teaching methodology, which earned him numerous accolades, including the Excellence in Undergraduate Instruction Award from NIU in 2024 and 2025.
