In addition, he has dedicated time as a young adult minister at The Vine Church of Rancho Cucamonga from 2017 to 2019, and as a docent and group lecturer on the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Bible from 2012 to 2013. Laying a solid educational foundation, Mr. Grimsley earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministries with a double major and a minor in Religion from Azusa Pacific University, a Master of Arts in archaeology and biblical studies with a concentration in biblical archaeology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master of Arts in theology with a concentration in Biblical Languages from the same institution. He is currently pursuing a PhD (ABD) in the archaeology of the Ancient Near East at Lipscomb University. In light of his impressive undertakings, he received several honors, including the E. He has also been awarded multiple education scholarships and ministry scholarships from the California Southern Baptist Convention from 2009 to 2013. In the coming years, he aims to publish a final volume on his findings for his project at Kourion and would also like to continue working in Cyprus and with other projects. Additionally, he has personal research he would like to conduct and publish related to his dissertation. He also hopes to secure a full-time position instead of continuing as an adjunct professor, and is dedicated to continue serving in his churches and develop an organization with his colleagues that brings archaeology to a broader audience, bridge gaps in knowledge and provide educational and experiential opportunities for people.
