With 28 years in trauma nursing and supervisory roles in long-term care facilities, she has a deep understanding of the health care continuum. Additionally, her training as a palliative care nurse and end-of-life doula enables her to offer compassionate care in end-of-life situations. A significant personal experience—the loss of her son in a surfing accident—has profoundly influenced her dedication to providing compassionate and empathetic care.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Murray pursued her education in nursing. She began with an associate degree in nursing from Anne Arundel Community College, which she completed in 1994. She furthered her academic efforts by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Notre Dame of Maryland University in 2009, laying a solid educational foundation for her future success. Staying actively connected to the health care and business communities, she is a member of the American Association of Colleges of Nursing and the Chamber of Commerce.
