Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Griffith pursued an education at Rhode Island College where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, special education, and general education. She continued her academic efforts at Providence College, obtaining a master’s degree in educational leadership. She concluded her studies at Northcentral University, graduating with a Doctor of Education.
Ms. Griffith is skilled in an array of specializations. This list includes special education law, client relations, curriculum development, organizational leadership, team management, elementary education, coaching, teacher training, professional development, public speaking, professional development services, staff development, software system training and management, census management, and student-centered learning. She has garnered a stellar reputation in regulatory compliance, documentation, and filings as well as grant preparation, writing, submissions, and administration.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Griffith has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was presented with the distinguished service award from the Association for Middle-Level Education. Additionally, she received a citation from the mayor of Warwick.
Ms. Griffith had more than 25 years of experience working in the public sector as an elementary and middle school classroom teacher. She served in leadership positions for 18 years and worked in the central office for more than a decade as a director of special education and as curriculum, instruction, and assessment superintendent. After her tenure in the public sector, she shifted to the private sector. She is currently completing her dissertation. In the immediate future, she intends to continue at her current position before transitioning to teaching at the college level.
