Additionally, he briefly served as the head baseball and basketball coach at Coalinga High School from 1988 to 1989.

Mr. Darrow’s illustrious career has been marked by numerous achievements and accolades, including induction into the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association Hall of Fame in 2023. Throughout his tenure, he has earned accolades such as the State Award of Merit from the NIAA and the State Athletic Director of the Year award. His coaching prowess has led to six state championships in three different sports and multiple Coach of the Year awards.

Mr. Darrow attributes his achievements to the mentorship and guidance provided by his coaches, administrators, and peers at the Nevada Athletic Directors Association.
