Throughout her career, Ms. Hartley has been actively involved in various academic and civic activities. She has been a member of several committees at Butte College, including the Student Learning Outcome Committee and the Curriculum Committee. Additionally, she has contributed her time and expertise to community organizations such as the Veteran Resource Center at Butte College and various services at her local church.
One of Ms. Hartley’s most significant accomplishments is her dedication to supporting students with disabilities, drawing from her own experience with developmental dyslexia. By sharing her story and serving as a role model, she inspires students to overcome obstacles and achieve their full potential. Looking ahead, she remains committed to her work at the university and advocating for issues such as Government Pension Offset repeal.
