She presently contributes her expertise to the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where she has thrived in several positions at the university.

Attributing her success to her kind and thoughtful nature, Ms. Barr utilized this asset to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Education in student personnel administration from the University of Delaware. She subsequently obtained a Juris Doctor with an emphasis on public interest and consumer law from the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York. In the coming years, she intends to continue her consulting work with universities to increase their international student population. She additionally desires to become more involved in her community as retirement nears. When she is not working, she dedicates her time and attention to gardening and golfing.
