With 15 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Seeder has excelled as program director and assistant professor of Computer Information Technology at Louisiana State University Eunice since 2015. In her role, she teaches classes, provides academic support and advising to students, and writes funding grants. She is a court-appointed special advocate and volunteers with troubled students. She began her career at the same as an adjunct Instructor from 2008 to 2015. At the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, she garnered a stellar reputation as an instructor from 2012 to 2015.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Seeder pursued an education at Colorado Technical University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree. She continued her academic efforts at the same, graduating with a Master of Science in Management in Information System Security in 2006 and a Master of Science in Management in Information Technology Management in 2007. LSUE holds an accreditation from the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering and a Sloan-C Workshop certification.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Seeder has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She volunteered with the 15th Judicial Court System in Lafyette, Louisiana as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and was featured in “Toughing IT Out” in Certification Magazine in 2022. In the United States Air Force, she served as a Morse code operator. In addition to her primary vocation, she remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She is a member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals, the Computer Science Teachers Association, Association for Computing Machinery, and the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Seeder has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was presented with the Teaching Excellence Award by Louisiana State University Eunice in 2022. She acknowledges that her achievements are the result of the unwavering support and encouragement she received from her colleagues over the years. The valuable feedback and constructive criticism from her students have helped her bring about positive changes, be it in the form of new course material, innovative teaching methods, or wholesome revisions to her published works. Her success is a testament to the collaborative spirit and collective effort of her peers and students.
