Lois Jordan, PhD, retired educator and independent political strategist, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in education and political strategy.

With 30 years of experience to her credit, Dr. Jordan has excelled as a political strategist and an educator. She worked as a social studies educator for the Metropolitan Public Schools and as an adjunct professor for Belmont and Fisk University before retiring. Before embarking on her professional path, she pursued an education at Tennessee State University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in education. She concluded her studies at Walden University, graduating with a PhD.

Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Dr. Jordan has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She sat on the board and served as director of development at the Mothaven Arts and Culture Center. In addition to her primary vocation, she remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of Rotary International, the Nashville Opera Association, the National Standards Committee, and the Symphony Guild. She was a board member of the Nashville Ballet.

In light of her impressive undertakings, Dr. Jordan has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She worked with 501c3 organization to raise money for various charities. She was honored to have her biography appear in The Two Thousand Women of Achievement, Community Leaders of Notable Americans, Personality of the South, and Notable Americans of the Bicentennial Era. She was recognized as Woman of the Month in June of 2019 by the Professional Organization of Woman of Excellence Recognized for her outstanding contributions and achievements in the fields of education and politics. She received the Top Tier of Excellence lifetime Achievement legacy recognition and was named to Oxford Who’s Who.
