She completed the Network of Educators in Science and Technology (NEST) program from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2008 and the Non-Degree Program on International Educational Resources (PIER) from Yale University in 2009.

Ms. Troupe received extensive media coverage for her advocacy on behalf of the unemployed, including renowned publications like The New York Times, Baltimore Sun, and Prevention Magazine. She appeared on The Phil Donahue Show twice, where she spoke on the issue of unemployment in the United States. This recognition led her to write and self-publish “Troupe’s Re-employment Resource Guide,” a book on resources for the unemployed. She also had an opportunity to testify before the United States Congress about the hardships of unemployed people trying to get an extension of unemployment payment.

In the upcoming years, Ms. Troupe has no intentions of discontinuing her work. She envisions authoring another book and expanding her class offerings.
