Christopher P. Adams, a lecturer at Central Penn College, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the allied health field.

Attributing his success to his intrinsic drive to perform at the best of his ability, Mr. Adams has found success in his role at Central Penn College, where he lectures in both in-person and online contexts for those seeking entry into the allied health fields, including medical billers, bill encoders, phlebotomists, and medical assistants. In addition to his teaching efforts, he also manages extracurricular clubs and serves as an adviser for students, with whom he participates in local health fairs and performs free health screenings. Among his accomplishments as a teacher, Mr. Adams is particularly proud to have maintained a high pass rate and subsequent job placement as a result of his work with future medical assistants.

Having previously served as a field medic in the United States Army, Mr. Adams subsequently worked in technical services before transitioning to a role as a senior medical assistant at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center from 2019 to 2021, whereupon he accepted his current role.

After receiving a diploma of education toward becoming an EMT paramedic via HACC, Central Pennsylvania’s Community College, in 2010, Mr. Adams subsequently attained an Associate of Science in medical assisting at Central Penn College, where he also earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in health care management. To remain aware of developments in the field, he maintains his affiliation with the American Academy of Medical Assistance, as well as the National Health Association. Looking toward the future, Mr. Adams aspires to complete his master’s level coursework and eventually earn a doctorate.
