Risa Roberts, private English as a second language teacher and author, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of language academia.
Drawing on more than five decades of experience, Ms. Roberts has excelled as an independent English as a second language (ESL) teacher since 2021. Similarly well-versed in the literary arts, especially creative and article writing, she is an accomplished author, having published several books, papers and articles over the course of her career, including her 2021 book, “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: An Adaptation by Risa Roberts.” She has also conducted a wealth of proofreading and photography work with several publishers during her tenure in the field. In her other academic efforts, Ms. Roberts previously served as an ESL teacher for Skybar in China from 2000 to 2021.
Ever committed to her profession, Ms. Roberts remains affiliated with the National League of American Pen Women Inc. (NLAPW). As part of her vocational journey, she also pursued a formal education, earning a Bachelor of Arts at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 1970. Additionally, she is fully certified in teaching English as a foreign language. In her adjacent civic-minded efforts, she maintains her commitment to donating funds and resources to the Nashville Rescue Mission. To commemorate her achievements, Ms. Roberts was previously recognized with an award from the NLAPW, and she received a Third Place Award from the Broward Art Guild.
