Erin Jean Robinson, PsyD, LP, the associate dean of students and director of student health services at the Ringling College of Art and Design, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of healthcare.

With several years of experience to her credit in her chosen field, Dr. Robinson has found success in both college counseling and through her private practice. As the Ringling College of Art and Design, she is largely responsible for providing oversight for medical services, and frequently liaises with the Sarasota Memorial Hospital, with whom the college has a contract. As a private counselor, Dr. Robinson works primarily with young adults and the LGBTQ+ population. Long dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and social services, she is also an avid supporter of the Teen Court of Sarasota Inc., a local nonprofit through whom she works with children who would otherwise find themselves incarcerated. Well-regarded for her accomplishments, Dr. Robinson was lauded as the Director of the Year by the American College Counseling Association (ACCA) in 2020.

Dr. Robinson initially studied psychology at the College of the Holy Cross, from which she earned a bachelor’s degree in 2003. Following this accomplishment, she went on to attend the University of Hartford, where she received a Doctor of Psychology, with a specific focus on clinical psychology for children and adolescents, in 2009. To remain aware of developments in her field, she maintains her affiliation with such organizations as the Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors, the ACCA and the American College Health Association. In accounting for her overall success, Dr. Robinson largely credits the support of her team, as well as her dedication, her forward-thinking outlook, and her zeal for continuing education.
