Kevin Grant Lancaster, adjunct faculty at The Citadel and Trident Technical College, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in mathematics.
With more than two decades of practiced expertise to his credit, Mr. Lancaster is a rising leader in the field of education. Specializing in mathematics and electronics, he has excelled as an adjunct faculty member at both The Citadel and Trident Technical since 2022. Additionally, since 2010, he has volunteered as a supervisor for Trident United Way. Prior to beginning his professional ventures, Mr. Lancaster honorably served in the United States Navy from 2001 to 2013, earning the rank of chief petty officer prior to retiring from his service in 2013. During his time in the field, he primarily worked as a technician, and from 2009 to 2013, he operated as the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command. He is additionally active as a adjunct professor at the College of Charleston.
As part of his vocational journey, Mr. Lancaster pursued a formal education, originally earning a Bachelor of Science in mathematics at Charleston Southern University in 2020. He subsequently continued his studies at the College of Charleston and achieved a Master of Science in mathematics in 2022. In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Lancaster also holds a certification in basic and advanced locksmithing from Foley-Belsaw Locksmithing. To commemorate his achievements in the field, he has been honored with numerous accolades over the course of his career, including a Meritorious Service Medal. Attributing much of his success to the guidance of his parents, Mr. Lancaster is particularly proud of his work as an instructor in the Navy.
