Ms. Fadare largely attributes her success to the influence of her family history in civic service, best exemplified by her mother, Barbara Jean Hurt, whose contributions as the director of the Edgemont Neighborhood Coalition were recognized with her serving as the namesake of a local community center. Likewise, she is grateful for the foundation that has been laid by her deep and abiding religious faith.
