Dr. Bill Creasy, President & Chief Executive Officer at Logos Educational Corporation, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in religious studies.

With more than 45 years of experience to his name, Dr. Creasy has excelled as the president and chief executive officer of Logos Educational Corporation since 1995. He has been additionally active as the founder of Logos Bible Study since 1989. He previously found success as an English teacher at the University of California Los Angeles between 1977 and his retirement from academia in 2005. From 1992 to 2002, Dr. Creasy was appointed as the leader of more than 60 teaching tours in Israel, Turkey, and Mediterranean Cruises.

Prior to embarking upon his professional path, Dr. Creasy earned a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, at Arizona State University in 1974. He subsequently obtained a Master of Arts, summa cum laude, at the aforementioned university in 1976. Dr. Creasy eventually concluded his studies with a Doctor of Philosophy in English literature at the University of California Los Angeles in 1982.

Dr. Creasy has also become accomplished with his creative works, having authored “The Imitation of Christ: A New Reading of the 1441 Autograph Manuscript” for Mercer University Press in addition to hosting a bi-weekly Spotify podcast titled “One Year Bible” and a weekly broadcast titled “Scripture Uncovered.” He further served in the U.S. Marine Corps between 1966 and 1972, during which time he advanced to the rank of corporal. As a testament to his stellar career, Dr. Creasy was recognized as a Bible Teacher Extraordinaire by Dr. Norman L. Geisler and Ralph E. MacKenzie in “Roman Catholics and Evangelicals” in 1995, among the Top Two Percent of the UCLA Teaching Faculty, and an honoree of the San Diego Ecumenical Council in 2004 and Mortar Board in 1998.

Dr. Creasy attributes his success to his mentor and best friend of nearly 50 years, Prof. Jack Evans, who believed in him and taught him along the way, as well as his six-year service in the U.S. Marine Corps, which provided him with a sense of direction, purpose, and iron discipline. Among the highlights of his career, he is particularly proud of bringing his popular “English Bible as Literature” class from the University of California Los Angeles into a larger community around the globe. Looking toward the future, Dr. Creasy hopes to cement the aforementioned class as a legacy project in his area of expertise.
