Specializing in physical education and health, she has operated as a physical education teacher at Rockland Woods Elementary School since 2016. She previously operated within the Washington County Public School System from 2012 to 2016 as a behavioral teacher. Additionally, she served as a special education instructional assistant in Frederick, Maryland, for two years. Ms. Lambert also worked extensively as a basketball and softball coach at the onset of her career.

Prior to embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Lambert pursued her own higher education, beginning with her time at Hood College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary and special education in 2009. She subsequently continued her studies at Walden University and received a master’s degree in education in 2014. To commemorate her accomplishments, she was inducted into the Hood College Athletics Hall of Fame. Attributing much of her success to the support of her family, Ms. Lambert is notably proud of her work alongside her son with nonprofit organizations such as the Lucky Fin Project and I Am Possible Foundation, which focus on assisting individuals with physical disabilities.
