Robert Hitter, Retired Educator, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in education.
After more than 30 years as a professional educator, Mr. Hitter is now retired. He spent his years in education teaching science, reading, and mathematics. During his college studies, he worked as a preschool teacher for two years, and later spent 28 years in public education. In addition to these posts, Mr. Hitter worked for a Catholic school in religious education for four years. He spent time working with a variety of students, including students with special needs, in a variety of environments.
In preparation for his career, Mr. Hitter earned a bachelor’s degree in child development from Iowa State University. He later graduated from Brooklyn College with a master’s degree in education. For his excellence, he was named Teacher of the Year. Mr. Hitter attributes his success to his desire to help others and to his commitment to preparation. Together with his wife, he has supported multiple charitable, religious, and ecological organizations. In the coming years, Mr. Hitter hopes to stay healthy and continue enjoying his well-deserved retirement.
