Gloria J. Roberson, Educator at the United States Department of Education, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership.
An experienced educator, Ms. Roberson has found success as a teacher in New York City for more than three decades. Previously, she garnered experience as an adjunct teacher and an educator in North Carolina. Throughout her career, she has taught science and physical education spanning kindergarten to fifth grade students. Ms. Roberson attributes her success to her passion and love for her profession. In her spare time, she enjoys tutoring, gardening, traveling, exercising, and painting abstract art.
In preparation for her career as an educator, Ms. Roberson completed coursework at East Carolina University and later graduated from Medgar Evers College with a bachelor’s degree. In 1991, she concluded her higher education at Adelphi University, earning a master’s degree. For her professional achievements, Ms. Roberson was recognized with an Outstanding Services Award and a Certificate of Accomplishment. Among her career highlights, she is proud of writing poetry, for which she received the Outstanding Achievement in Poetry award from the International Society of Poets. In the coming years, she hopes to travel, relax, and enjoy her well-deserved retirement.
