Title: Retired Adjunct Professor
Company: University of Montana
Location: Albany, Oregon, United States
Susan Johnson, Retired Adjunct Professor at the University of Montana, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in education.
For 20 years, Ms. Johnson worked as an elementary teacher at the Anchorage School District. Following this post, she spent more than a decade as an adjunct professor at the University of Montana before her retirement in 2001. Since her retirement, she has focused on giving back by awarding scholarships in honor of her mother.
Ms. Johnson became involved in education after attending an orientation to education class. While taking the course, she realized immediately that teaching was of great interest to her. After completing her higher education, she started working as an educator. As the eldest of five children, Ms. Johnson had experience handling younger children, which she believes contributed to her success as an educator. In the coming years, she hopes to still be helping others by distributing information on caring for individuals with Parkinson’s disease.
