Amy L. Haller, MBA, Clinical Project Director of the Office of Advanced Practice Providers at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in health care and higher education administration.

Innately fascinated with science and driven to touch others’ lives, Ms. Haller has found success as the clinical project director with the Office of Advanced Practice Providers at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center since 2021. Since 2018, she has additionally served the institution’s Center for Advanced Practice Education as its director, and from 2014 to 2019, she was the director of the Advanced Practice Provider Surgical Residency Program. Prior to her work as an administrator, Ms. Haller contributed her skills as a minimally invasive bariatric and general surgery physician assistant with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center from 2009 to 2018, and a surgical physician assistant resident at Norwalk Hospital from 2008 to 2009.

In preparation for her career pursuits, Ms. Haller attended Duquesne University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in health sciences in 2007 and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies in 2008. In 2019, she earned an additional Master of Business Administration in health care management from Chatham University. For her accomplishments, Ms. Haller has been recognized with an award for Faculty Excellence in Professional Development and Continuing Education from the department of physician assistant studies at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2020, she was inducted into the Phi Alpha Honor Society, and in the coming years, she hopes to develop more educational programs that will improve health care and benefit providers across the health system.
