Peregrina A. “Rina” Ramos, Principal at Morton High School, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in educational administration.
A longtime educator and academic administrator, Ms. Ramos has found success since 2021 as the principal of Morton High School. Prior to this post, she was the principal of Morton Elementary School from 2018 to 2021, an assistant principal of Cleburne High School from 2014 to 2018, an academic administrator for accountability at Venus High School from 2013 to 2014, and an assistant principal at Venus High School from 2012 to 2013. Aside from her administrative positions, Ms. Ramos was an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Arlington from 1999 to 2007, adjunct faculty at the Texas Wesleyan University from 2003 to 2005, and an adjunct instructor at Texas Woman’s University from 2000 to 2005.
Ms. Ramos garnered additional experience as a bilingual teacher with the Arlington Independent School District from 2003 to 2004 and the Grand Prairie Independent School District from 1999 to 2001. She began her career from 1996 to 1999 as an elementary school teacher in Dallas Independent School District. Ms. Ramos is the author of “The Little Clay Jar = La Vasijita de Barro,” published in 2006 with Word Gift Publications. In 2021, she was recognized by the National Council of Women Educators. Ms. Ramos has maintained membership with the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals, and in the coming years, she plans to become a school superintendent.
