Having accumulated almost three decades of experience, Dr. Goddard is a leading expert in leadership development, strategic management and academic administration. Since 2021, he has operated as the superintendent of Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano, Texas, where he oversees all administrative aspects of the school and its educators. Adjacent to his primary responsibilities, he has also served as an adjunct professor at Dallas Baptist University since 2019. Furthermore, between 2017 and 2022, Dr. Goddard held the position of chief executive officer of Goddard Leadership Group LLC. 

Dr. Goddard has leveraged his prior experiences to find a wealth of success in his current roles. To wit, he previously served as the superintendent of the Lovejoy Independent School District from 2019 to 2021 and the Red Oak Independent School District from 2017 to 2019, and from 2010 to 2017, he acted as the assistant superintendent of the Prosper Independent School District. Additionally, he was the principal of Lovejoy High School between 2005 and 2010 and an administrator for the McKinney Independent School District from 2001 to 2005. Dr. Goddard began his career in 1994, serving as the director of T Bar M Camps & Retreats in New Braunfels, Texas, until 1997.

Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Dr. Goddard pursued a formal education, beginning with his time at Austin State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and marketing in 1994. He subsequently continued his studies at the University of North Texas and achieved a Doctor of Education in educational leadership and administration in 2004. In addition to his academic credentials, he was also certified as a power of positive leadership trainer by The Jon Gordon Companies in 2019 and as a coach and trainer by Maxwell Leadership in 2015. As part of his dedication to his profession, Dr. Goddard also remains affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including the American Association of School Business Officials and the Texas Association of School Business Officials (TASBO).

Well regarded for his accomplishments in the field, Dr. Goddard was named CEO of the Year by the Dallas Morning News in 2020, and he was nominated as the Prosper Person of the Year by Prosper Magazine in 2015 and 2016. Adjacent to his professional endeavors, he is also regularly involved in his community as a civic-minded citizen, having participated in the Special Olympics for 18 years. Over the course of his career, he has largely attributed his success to his sincere desire to inspire excellence in children and to have a positive impact on his community. In the coming years, Dr. Goddard looks forward to offering further venues for young students to explore their faith and foster their education.
