Before embarking on an exceedingly productive career, Ms. Jackson gained vital training while earning a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University. To gain further expertise in her field, she subsequently earned a master’s degree in Houston, Texas. 

Over the course of her career, Ms. Jackson received a number of prestigious honors, including the University of Oklahoma Public Service Award and an Award for Human Relations and Crime Prevention from the Houston Independent School District. Moreover, she garnered a special certificate from the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

Becoming a teacher was a lifelong dream for Ms. Jackson, who drew inspiration from her own instructors, particularly a music teacher who served as her most influential mentor. She started college when she was just 15 years old and immediately became a school teacher when she graduated at 20 years old. Dedicated to the welfare of her community, she has served as a volunteer at her local church.
