She has excelled in the role for the past 10 years, educating students, running after-school STEM programs, and integrating the arts into all of her activities. To commemorate her accomplishments in the field, she was recognized with a Teacher’s Excellence Award. Prior to her current appointment, Ms. Stanley also previously operated as an attorney for 20 years.
Before embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Stanley cultivated her own education, beginning with her time at the University of California Berkeley, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in performing arts. She subsequently continued her studies and earned a Juris Doctor at the New College of California and a Master of Education at the Teachers College of San Joaquin. As part of her professional dedication, Ms. Stanley has also remained affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including the National Science Teachers Association, the California Teachers Association, and the National Education Association. Accounting for her many achievements, she attributes much of her success to her passion for learning. While she expects to retire from teaching in the near future, she hopes to continue volunteering at the school and finish writing a children’s book.
