Dr. Constance Colon-Jones, Professional Educator & Consultant, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Education for dedication, achievements, and leadership in communication and linguistics education.
Prior to embarking upon her professional path, Dr. Jones initially earned a bachelor’s degree from the College of New Jersey in Ewing Township. She subsequently obtained a master’s degree in education in English linguistics and socio-political history from the aforementioned college. Dr. Jones concluded her academic efforts with an institutional doctorate in education, literacy and communications.
Dr. Jones currently excels as a public school teacher, for which she has been certified to educate students between grades K-12. She has likewise found success as an independent communications consultant, in which she reviews and confirms publications. Notably appointed as the first commissioner for the Commission of Women in New Jersey from 1977 to 1979, during which time she further served as secretary to the executive council board and the business conference chairperson. An expert on business, communications, education, corporate America, non-profit organizations and education, among other fields, Dr. Jones has also thrived with her communicative writings via CCJ Publications.
Dr. Jones’ educational honors include recognition for achieving overall focus with the College of New Jersey. She additionally accepted various awards for public speaking and recognition within an organizational seat by the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce. Moreover, Dr. Jones has maintained her affiliation with the Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education and Club Core.
Coming from a family of immigrants, Dr. Jones was attracted toward teaching English as a Second Language and communications in general. She has been particularly proud of achieving a professorship in communications. Desiring to be remembered as a superior communicator, her goal in the coming years is to create an independent consultation foundation.
