Radislav Majic, Teacher at Rose Educators, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top educators for dedication, achievements, and leadership in dedication to the field of education.
Originally hailing from Croatia, Mr. Majic obtained a Bachelor of Science in geography and secondary teaching with emphasis on meteorology and geology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1975 and subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in meteorology from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois in 1978. He excelled as a substitute teacher with Argo Community High School, District 104 Schools in Summit, Illinois from 1994 to 2003, St. Camillus School from 2003 to 2005, St. Mary of Czestochowa School, where he received a Certificate of Merit, from 2006 to 2008 and St. Symphorosa School from 2005 to 2015. Since 2020, he has provided superior education with the charter school Rose Educators.
Beside his career in education, Mr. Majic has maintained membership in American Meteorological Society since 1975 and is also president of the Heritage Club. Previously, he had also served as the vice president of Lodge 32 Chicago of the Croatian Fraternal Union. In addition, he has been a treasurer for the Knights of Columbus Saint Padre Pio Da Pietrelcina Council #12926 for the past seventeen years. He attributes his success to his upbringing and family history. As a child of immigrants, he learned the importance of working hard and takes pride that he was the first in his family to obtain a college degree. Now in his seventies, Mr. Majic intends to continue his work as a substitute teacher.
