Dr. Roberts went to Drexel University College of Medicine for his residency in 1975 and completed his fellowship in medical toxicology at Bellevue University in New York, New York in 1978. He is also an author and his words have appeared in medical journals. He has also received professional awards in recognition for his career achievements and is a member of multiple professional groups, including the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Medical Toxicology.
